Overview
Once your assets are ready to be returned from a contact, it can be scanned back into your available inventory. Using the Free Scan In feature is very useful when you have assets that are being returned from multiple contacts at the same time and you don’t want to open up each contact to return.
Free Scanning Equipment In
- On the Main Menu, select the Warehouse menu and then click Free Scan In.
- Begin scanning equipment.
Remember, you can also access Free Scan In from the Quick Links tab on the Home page.
As you open the various contacts, you will notice that anything you have free scanned in will no longer be visible in their Assets tab, indicating it has been successfully scanned in.
Printing the Free Scan In Report
- On the Main Menu, select the Reports menu and then double-click the Free Scan In Report.
- Choose the report parameters (dates and location are not required).
- Click GENERATE REPORT.
The Free Scan In report will show all items that have been free scanned in during whatever date range you choose. If you leave the date range blank, the report will show all free scan in records.
