Overview
The Inventory Worksheet is a powerful tool that will help you in managing your inventory. In the Inventory Worksheet, you can view and edit general information about your inventory, including notes, purchase cost, bin locations, and more.
To access the Inventory Worksheet, go to the
Inventory menu, then click Inventory Worksheet.Filtering Results
To filter results in the Inventory Worksheet, use the fields located along the top of each column.
You can use as many fields as you need to filter results. Some fields will have a free-type field, while others will have a drop-down menu filter.
Making Changes to Inventory Model Fields
To edit the information found in each field of the Inventory Worksheet, click into the field and it will change into an editable field. Make the necessary adjustments, and all changes will be automatically saved when you click out of the field or press enter/return on the keyboard.
Bulk Editing Inventory Model Fields
- Go to the Inventory menu, then click Inventory Worksheet
- Select the checkboxes of the lines that you would like to bulk edit
- Locate the column you want to edit, select the 3-dot options menu, and choose "Update values on selected lines"
- Enter the applicable information and select Update
Notes: When "Retain selected lines" is checked in the Bulk Edit popup, the selected lines will remain checked after the bulk editing action is complete. This will allow you to continue making edits to the lines.
Copying and Pasting Single Value To Selected Lines
- Go to the Inventory menu, then click Inventory Worksheet
- Select the checkbox of the line that you would like to copy
- Locate the column you want to copy, select the column's 3-dot options menu, and choose "Copy from selected line." NOTE: The clipboard can be referenced to see what column values have been copied. Values from multiple columns can be copied to the clipboard
- Select the checkboxes of the lines that you would like to paste the selected value to
- Select the column's 3-dot options menu and choose "Paste to selected lines"
Copying and Pasting Multiple Values To Selected Lines
- Go to the Inventory menu, then click Inventory Worksheet
- Select the checkboxes of the lines that you would like to copy
- Locate the column you want to copy, select the 3-dot options menu, and hoover over "Copy Values of Selected Lines to" to be presented with the paste options in a sub-menu
- Select the option of where you want the values to be pasted
Keep in mind, you can only paste to "like" fields. For example, you can not copy values from "Manufacturer" and paste them to "Purchase Cost."
Multiply Selected Line Values
This option is only available for numerical value fields.
- Go to the Inventory menu, then click Inventory Worksheet
- Select the checkboxes of the lines that you would like to multiply
- Locate the column you want to multiply, select the 3-dot options menu, and choose "Multiply selected line values"
- Enter either a percentage or a whole number that you want to multiply the selected values by
- If applicable, check "Round multiplied values to nearest whole number" and select Update
